Scenarios

At a high level SpaceNet can model two types of scenarios. The first type are essentially single missions, which can be sortie style missions. We use Apollo 17 as the baseline case. Another example is a Constellation sortie mission, as developed during the ESAS study. We have also created variants of this basic sortie scenario for lunar exploration, including one where the EDS is refueled in LEO and one where the LSAM AS is refueled with LOX generated by ISRU on the lunar surface.

The more interesting and unique capability, is the ability of SpaceNet to model and simulate entire campaigns. We have modeled two campaigns in an end to end fashion. The first is the Constellation lunar outpost buildup. The second is the initial history of ISS assembly and operations.
